The CVI Range
Learning Objectives: After the completion of this module, participants should be able to complete a parent interview, observation and direct assessment of a learner with CVI. Further, throughout these three components, participants should be able to identify the 10 behavioral and visual characteristic(s) addressed.
For example: If a parent tells you their child closes and tends to get upset in busy, unfamiliar locations. After completing this module, participants should be able to identify this statement addresses complexity of the sensory environment and novelty.
Action Steps
After completing this module, participants need to complete the following tasks.
- Complete a parent interview, observation, and direct assessment
- Score the CVI Range*
*It is highly recommended to complete these action steps with at least one additional evaluator.
